Sho Dozono, President and CEO

Sho Dozono, President and CEO since 1987, has grown the agency from a small company with only a handful of employees into a multi-branch, multi-faceted enterprise. He has had a distinguished career in the travel industry spanning three decades and in 2002 was named Travel Agent of the Year by the American Society of Travel Agents. A strong advocate of diversity and equal opportunity, Sho is a respected business and civic leader and became the first minority to chair the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce in its 110-year history. He is a devoted humanitarian and has received countless honors and awards and held numerous positions of strategic importance to the development of travel and tourism—locally, regionally, nationally and globally. Sho holds a BA in History from the University of Washington and an MST in Education from Portland State University.

Bill Harmon, Executive Vice President

Bill Harmon has served as manager of nearly every Azumano branch office over the span of his 30-year career at Azumano. He was formerly head of Azumano’s meeting planning & incentive division and both managed and escorted a number of corporate incentive groups. He has also been involved in arena and celebrity event management and marketing consulting.  Bill was promoted to operations manager, then general manager, vice president and most recently executive vice president. He is currently responsible for vendor relations/agreements and oversees all corporate operations and leisure marketing. A longtime member of the board of directors of the Portland Rose Festival, Bill is also involved in a number of other civic and social services organizations. Bill is a graduate of Walla Walla University.

Dawn Baker, Vice President Human Resources

Dawn Baker entered the industry in 1977 as a travel counselor. She was subsequently promoted to training coordinator, then general manager responsible for six retail offices. She joined our staff in 1997 when her previous agency, Away Travel, was acquired by Azumano. Dawn currently oversees several retail offices and manages Human Resources & Benefits. She is also responsible for employee background checks.

Nancy Parrott, Vice President Leisure Sales & Marketing

Nancy Parrott has been in the travel industry since 1979. Prior to joining our staff in 1988, Nancy served as regional manager for a large mid-western travel management company where she also acquired experience supervising group travel. Through her years at Azumano Travel she has donned a number of hats and currently manages several retail offices.  Her responsibilities also include marketing & public relations initiatives for leisure travel as well as oversight of our leisure web portal and the development of customized leisure portals for corporate accounts. Nancy holds a B.A. from Adrian College in Michigan.
