Azumano Alerts

When a flight is cancelled or delayed, competition is fierce for the few seats that might be available for re-accommodation on other flights, with those “at the front of the line” usually being the victors. AzumanoAlerts, powered by FlightStats, is a technology-based solution to this problem. Should an operational irregularity occur that disrupts a traveler’s itinerary, an automated alert is sent to the Azumano Customer Care Team who will come to attention immediately to provide proactive, “front-of-the-line” assistance. In effect, we are able to jump the gun in an effort to secure alternative arrangements, in many cases while the traveler is still enroute to a broken connection, sometimes before the traveler even knows there’s a problem!

Travelers can also opt to receive time-sensitive alerts directly, round the clock. Accounts can be configured to send proactive flight alerts via email or SMS text to the device of choice—PC, Web-enabled cell phone, smart phone, or PDA.

Travelers are automatically sent an email invitation to register and to start receiving notices regarding the status of their flights, as well as pre-trip itineraries with destination and local weather information, access to their carriers’ online check-in and baggage regulations, and links to government ID and security requirements.
